About PowerPin

Five clues a day. Tap where it happened.

PowerPin makes free daily sports quizzes on a world map: rugby, football, cricket, golf and Grand Prix. Every day everyone gets the same five clues. For each one you drop a pin on the world map where you think it happened: the closer you are, the more you score. After each answer you get the true story behind it. Then you share your score with your mates and come back tomorrow. Play the daily round, start a league with your mates, or challenge them to a duel.

The games

All five games are open to everyone: Rugby since 22 October 2026, and Football, Cricket, Golf and Grand Prix since 24 October 2026. Each game has its own five clues a day, streak, leagues and medals, all on one account.

How scoring works

Each clue is worth up to 200 points, so a perfect day scores 1,000. Pin it within 15 km for the full 200; after that, the further away you are, the fewer points you get. A new round arrives every midnight, UK time, and your streak counts the days in a row you've played.

Where the clues come from

Every clue is researched from published sources and is about real places and events. We stick to facts and place names: no team crests, competition logos or player photos. If you think something's wrong, tap Report a problem under the answer and we'll check it. Answers to past rounds are in each game's answers archive: Rugby, Football, Cricket, Golf and Grand Prix. The world map is drawn from Natural Earth, a free public map collection.
